We understand you may feel uneasy when calling to make your first appointment. Our office staff is sensitive to your feelings and their goal is to get you help. Samaritan receives calls Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m. However, you may leave a message at any time and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Upon calling, you will be greeted by a friendly voice and guided through a simple intake process. A necessary step, “intake” involves obtaining contact and insurance information and your reason for seeking counseling.

You will be asked:
Samaritan therapists have offices in Pittsburgh, Beaver, Butler, Punxsutawney and Sewickley.
Next, you will be assigned to a therapist who will contact you directly to schedule. You may also request a particular therapist of your own choosing.
Once you call and schedule your first appointment, you will receive a link to our Client Portal along with your account login information. After logging in to your account, you will have access to information forms that are necessary for you to complete before seeing your therapist. Your responses will help your therapist gain important details about your health, needs and background.
