As a young child, I experienced the death of my mother, Karen explains. But I had no one to talk to about it. Grieving was very hard. There was a time I struggled with my faith.
However, after regaining and deepening my faith in God, I felt called to provide care for others who are suffering through difficult times in their lives.
Since 2003, Karen has served her churchPunxsutawney Christian and Missionary Allianceas a Worship Director. In 2015, she joined the clinical team at Samaritan where she is grateful to be able to integrate faith principles into her work with clients.
