Beth Healey

Beth Healey

Beth Healey, the Director of Development and Marketing, joined the Samaritan Counseling Center’s senior staff in November 2011. She has an extensive background in communications, marketing, and fundraising which includes 15 years of experience in nonprofits. Prior to her appointment at Samaritan, she served as the Public Relations Manager at Light of Life Rescue Mission. Earlier in her career, after earning her undergraduate degree in commercial art, Beth had worked at Mellon Bank Corporation (now BNY Mellon) as a unit supervisor in the Marketing and Communications Department.

Beth is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Sewickley Nonprofit Consortium, and past member of Pittsburgh Professional Women. Beth has also served as a member of: the Communications Committee with the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership (GPNP), the Public Relations Society of America and Clear Channel Radio Pittsburgh’s Nonprofit Advisory Board. 

Beth was an elected member and past president of the Hopewell Area School District’s Board of Directors where she also served on the negotiations committee, the local Council of Governments, as the Beaver County Legislative Chairperson and as the liaison to the PA State Board of Education. She has volunteered for numerous activities in her community, churches and schools. Beth speaks at rotaries, colleges, businesses, etc., and has represented organizations at Chamber of Commerce meetings and other community groups as well as through live television and radio interviews.
